Moving countries, adapting to a new academic culture, and preparing to jump into a brand-new job market is an incredible adventure—and let’s be honest, it can also feel a bit overwhelming. If you’ve ever stared at a blinking cursor trying to figure out how to explain your international experience on a standard CV, you are definitely not alone.

Following up on our recent LinkedIn session, we are hosting a hands-on, action-packed workshop designed specifically to help international students turn their global backgrounds into a massive career advantage.

In this interactive 2-hour workshop, international students will learn how to turn their academic and professional background into a compelling CV that stands out to employers and passes Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Participants will learn how to identify their transferable skills, overcome imposter syndrome, structure results-focused bullet points, and leverage modern AI tools strategically.

Key Learning Objectives & Agenda:
  • Building Your Professional Story: Identify core values, interests, and transferable skills to reframe experience and overcome imposter syndrome.

  • The 60-Second Pitch: Master the "Who / What / Where" formula to answer the common "Tell me about yourself" question in interviews and intros.

  • ATS Formatting & Structure: Understand how resume screeners work and format a clean, 1–2 page single-column CV.

  • Tailoring & Keyword Matching: Learn how to extract keywords from job descriptions to customize bullet points for specific roles.

  • Strategic AI Assistance: Practical guidelines on using AI tools ethically to draft, refine, and polish resume content.
